Ahhh...snuck up on you eh? Who wants a 20B? Who just rebuilt his motor over the weekend? Who was having a fit when Hayes couldn't get the O rings? I can see your expression when you were reading my post " Who the **** is this guy?"

Since Wal*Mart readily carries this stuff, I decided to try it since they claim "low ash" all over the container.  It's a bit pricer that the other stuff (~$1.27/quart or <$7/gallon), and it never goes on sale.  It only comes in one weight, 15W40, which is slightly thinner than the 20W50 Castrol GTX I usually use.  I've torn my engine down once in between 30k miles of use, and the internals all look fine.  I do run pre-mix with no stock OMP, so I can't comment on carbon build-up with the Rotella-T stuff.
Did you know that Shell Rotella-T comes in a SYNTHETHIC formula now?
I just noticed it in the local Wal*Mart up here in Las Vegas.  It comes in a dark blue bottle, but it is pricey at ~$5/quart!-Ted
Ted...
Ive read before that synthetic is not good for the dowel pin 0-rings. I dont remember where, but it was talking about synthetic leaking past the 0-rings after a good bit of miles, like 50K or something. Not really a bad problem, but its still an oil leak. Have you ever heard of this? I was just wondering if you have had any experience with it happening.

1) Synthetic oil presents smaller molecules - they tend to get past a lot of places dino oils can't.
2) Synthetic oil sometimes has a tendency to shrinking certain rubber seals.
I wouldn't doubt you'll end up with more oil leaks with synthetic oil, but the advantages are huge on a turbo engine.

Ted,
These bolts come out with a pair of vice grips, and it's quite convenient when you want to stick your hand in there while the engine is running without getting your fingers torn up:
I think I had to find some 10 mm bolts from something else I took off to hold the pulley on with those removed though. Here's my setup:
