restrictor pill in vac line?

Will no restrictor pill in the vac line to the boost sensor result in power loss? More specifically, I have a profec B and I am wondering if I still need the pill in the line since it's being controlled remotely.

I don't know about power loss, but i do know it can cause some hesitation issues. i believe the reason it exists is to even out the pressure fluctuations. as far as the profec, i'm not familiar with it but the fact that the signal will be modified makes me think it wont matter. unless the profec takes its reading from the pressure sensor itself. i don't think this is the case. Then again, i don't know much...
