Resonable HP

I dunno if it was me or what, but the search isnt working right now. I was just wondering if 400-500hp is obtainable in a 2nd gen? That is what im looking for. What would maybe be the easiest way to obtain this? I was also thinking of perhaps droping a 13brew in the car. Would that work out well?

btw - i dont have a car yet, just learning still, and tossing out ideas

Anything is possible with a 2nd gen. Just dont expect it too be cheap or reliable. With quite a bit of modifications to a 13B-Turbo 400HP is easily attainable, but just remember with more power comes less reliability. Porting your engine, upgrading your fuel components, and upgrading your turbo will be about the only way to do this. I think your question should be more what do you want to do with the car, not what kind of horsepower you want.

400 is generally considered the block's limitation on the 2nd gen. While you can make much more than this it won't hold up for long. The RE/W engines are a little more beefy but still keep a 450hp limit. There are ways you can modify the innards of the RE/W's to make them handle up to 600hp but it takes some specific machining and additional dowel pins.

It all boils down to cost though. How much do you want to spend on the car?
