Can you use fuel system cleaner in a rotary engine?


How do you prevent carbon lock?

yeah, should be fine.
Try redlining once in a while. Maybe dump some water in the intake to steam the carbon off.
If it does ever carbon lock, use a bunch of ATF or magic mystery oil in the engine to dissolve the carbon. Never force it to turn, that's how you kill seals and housings.
oh yeah, converting to premix cuts down a lot on carbon build-up.

I wouldnt "dump water into the intake". Probably not the best thing for a turbo.

If you want to do that pull off the vac line for the pressure sensor and stick it in a jug of water. Keep the rpms up while doing this (3-4k)

well, not "dump in", put in. Is it turbo? I didn't know that. As long as you don't flood the engine with water, it should be allright for any engine.
