Resistor Pack
Resistor Pack behind right front head light under factory Air Box ? 7/87 production date Turbo 2 . is the silver box with the white round plug for the fuel pump or the injectors ?

The one behind the headlights is for the fuel pump. Drops the fuel pump voltage down to approx 9vdc when there is no LOAD on the engine.
The SOLENOID RESISTOR PACKAGE is only on early 87 cars with the chassis number in the attached jpg. I think that is -550168 and earlier. The -550169 gets high resistance injectors with NO SOLENOID RESISTOR PACKAGE.
SOLENOID RESISTOR PACKAGES look just like the two shown in the attached jpgs.
