Reset TPS, now hard to start?
I adjusted my TPS earlier and was able to get it to 1.033K Ohms after the car was warmed up, but now everytime i start it it sputters and slowly catches before dieing unless i apply some throttle to pick it up. Until now it's only given me starting problems twice before (4month time period), and it would always pickup right off on the 2nd attempt.
I'm going to try adjusting it with a different multimeter later since the one i used would show 1. when the throttle was WOT and would never register over 1.99K Ohm for whatever reason, and obviosly does not lend me to believe that it's a very good multimeter.

try adjusting it with volts rather than ohms, adjust it when warm with the key on engine off and backprobing the green wire off the TPS until it reads 1.0volt and do a slow sweep to be sure there is no shudders in voltage or opens during the sweep indicating a faulty TPS. if it still doesn't start and run correctly try adjusting it to 1.86 volts, i have had some cars that just do not work correctly at 1 volt.

I backed it off to about where i started at the beginning of the day and had no problems starting back up. So i tried using the same multimeter, but set to read volts...nothing. Not even .001 on the lowest setting while manipulating the throttle.
Going to have to wait until tomorrow before i can get my hands on my friends' multimeter that i know works very well.
