Resealing sunroof?
Does anyone have any tips for sealing the sunroof so it doesn't leak?
I have to replace the passenger side lever, and I plan to use some silicone sealant around the sunroof panel gasket.
Besides cleaning out the drain tubes and etc. what else can help keep the water off my head!
Should I permanently seal it off?

When I got my Turbo II, the sunroof leaked only on the driver's side. So I opened the sunroof and checked the drains with a hose. Only the left front side drained very slowly...
So, I took of the trim around door and winshield off as well as the sunvisor. Then, I moved the headliner down slightly and found the problem! When the car was assembled, most of the left front drain tube was pinched by the sunvisor when it was screwed down. So, I moved it out of the way, cleaned the tube and put everything back together and it's been dry ever since

Yes, its not a matter of the sunroof itself (the panel visible on the outside) leaking water, since I'm quite sure most do anyways, its a matter of the tray/track assembly that the panel is mounted to being able to drain the water away.
There's a drain tube on each corner that can be accessed from inside. Although I believe the front two can be reached with an airblower when the sunroof is open.
Make sure they're clear and you won't have any problems.

Thanks for the tips!
Update: Both the left and right sliding levers, move the sunroof panel up, back, down, etc., were broken. Not only was there quite a bit of debris clogging the hose, but the sunroof panel was not closing completely.
So I got new sliders from a donor, removed the complete sunroof assembly, cleaned and lubricated all moving parts, and replaced the broken parts. Now to see if it works!
I'll try to post some pictures if I have time.
