resealing/fixing leaks

ok, so the other day i noticed that the top of my water pump housing under the alternator. some coolant has risen.. so a weak seal.. so i need to reseal the water pump and water pump housing soon before anything else. i know this problem.

but i have another leak too, its major if i may say... its from behind the main pulley. i found the info i needed to fix it, but i'm afraid i might seize up my motor if i mess up too. so i want to know if anyone else has ran across this issue? also it says to replace with a new mazda part, but i was thinking... can i just use some gasket goo to make a new one?

i need help pronto, and some walkthroughs too!!

Thought about just getting a new water pump and housing?

well that's not the real issue.. and i'm thinking about just using the same one if its still good. the real issue is the oil leak from behind the main pulley.
