replacing wiper switch in s5

is it possible to do without removing steering wheel and ignition switch plastic covers?

The cluster surround can come out if you tilt the steering wheel down all the way. Removing the plastic covers from the steering column does make it easier though.

yeah, i never take that stuff off, just tilt all the way down and be careful, that plastic is brittle
