Replacing Windsheild (Tips???)

Ok i have helped my dad in the past swap out windsheilds but never on a rx7. The dash is a big obstacle and i am curious if anyone here has done this themselves and has any words of advice. I am not changing out my windsheild but i am going to help Blackrx7 do his this weekend. All help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys

I work for a transportation company. We always have the class shop replace our class. Pay a shop to do it.

If they crack it. They will make it good.

My last 89 Rx7 windshield cost $280 installed.

Having my maintaince manager calling right now to replace my 89 windshield hit by an iron bar thrown up on the freeway.

definitly get a used windshield or discount pricing. Glass doctor does NOT shop around so they'll either be dirt cheap or charge out the @$$.

Since you insist on doing this. Go t a body shop supply house and get a tube of 3M windshield adhesive. Be cautious of the radio antenna connection and the ground.

with no dash, no bonnet, no interior in the car at all etc, provided you have the right tools, it is pretty easy actually, they'd be one of the easiest screen i have cut out, i was able to do all except the bottom corners with a knife, put the cutting wire in for the corners and walah, windsreen was out
