Replacing Driver Side Window
Replacing Driver Side Window
So some ******* smashed my driver side window
, and now i am driving windowless. Does any one know how much these go for (insurance wont pay)? Also, is it possible to replace it with another car's window with similar dimensions, if so which car? Hopefully I can find a 7 at a junk yard near me.

Junk yards will usually part with a window for 25-50 dollars.
Easy to change, pull the door panel and there's two screws holding the glass to the regulator.
Also try your local forsale section, someone has a parts car near you without a doubt in my mind.

Do you have the right coverage for vandalism? If so and they won't pay for it that's pretty stupid, however you really would be better off financially doing this one yourself like classicauto said.

its held on with 2 10mm bolts/screws. gently pry the lower window trim off, take off the door panel, and it just slides in and out and bolts right up. takes 5 minutes.
I got a right hand window for 45 bucks last weekfrom the Wreckyard. Easy to replace. Like the man said, just two screws and vacuum up the pieces of the broken window. Forty five minutes on the outside.
