Anyone have suggestions on brands that are good? I want something thats not going to break on me again

OEM Mazda is your safest bet.

I've heard plenty of horror stories from the discount parts stores.

Mazdatrix sells the actual OE manufacturer parts, so the parts are like getting them from the dealer, except in the OE manufacturer box and for a cheaper price than the stealership.
