replacing all the hoses...

hey, I want to change all the hoses in my car since they're probably 10 years old and dying.
Did anyone do this? It would be great if you could tell me what dimensions hoses and quantity I need.

Also they have this kit pre-made for the TII on here:

It costs $100. Would this fit an n/a?

Do you guys think that colored hoses are rice?

I'm pretty sure that you would have all of the hoses that youd need for a N/A, probably a couple extra. I just ordered silicone vacuum hoses from mazdatrix, spent around $50. I got blue, but they have a few colors to choose from. It may be rice, but i think it looks good, so who cares Its my car.

I ordered the hose techniques TurboII kit to replace the hoses on my NA. There is more than enough to replace everything. I used some of the extra on my 82 GSL. The vacuum hoses are 3.5mm.

Mazdatrix sells 3.5mm silicone for $2.00/ft. You can buy 3.5mm hose from Hose Techniques for $1.35/ft. Also more colors to choose from and you can order matching color tie wraps.

thanks, would a starter kit cover most of the engine?

And do you have any pics of your engine?

While you are at it, I would HIGHLY recommend replacing ALL your coolant hoses. I found the best prices at MAZDAFORMANCE. A forum sponser.

Good maintenance action in my book.
