replacement passenger mirror

is there a replacement glass for the passenger side mirror that doesn't have writing in it? I have my own writing i'd like to etch into the glass.

no, but you could probably have a glass shop cut you one... it just wouldn't be wide angle

A lot of glass shops keep convex (or is it concave?) mirror glass on hand. I had a pass mirror cut for my truck at one and it's still got a decent wide-angle to it, but not quite like stock.

Actually, yes. The VERY early '86 mirrors did not have writing on them. If you can find one, it's a direct swap.

For the longest time my car did not have writing on the mirror, then it was damaged in an accident. The replacement did have writing.
