replacement FPD

ok..this past weekend i had a change to look under the hood of a 99 protege..and to me.....it looks alot like the unit on our cars....can anyone varify this?.....i had to resist the urge to yank it out of a customer's car to see if it would fit my car....

I asked the parts guy st the dealer if he could cross reference the part number. He said the Protege does use the same part number. But he didn't know what year(s).

Call the dealer and say you have a 99 Protege and ask for the part number. See if it matches.
