Everything looked great. But when i took it out on the road.... when i reach hi revs, the transmission begins to shudder.... and my idiot lights lit up..... also, there appears to be a coolant leak someplace...... coolant was pouring out, but i cant see where. Looks like the driverside rear of the engine......

What are these 3 symptoms of? My alternator is putting out just over 14volts, so i don't think that is the problem for the idiot lights coming on.....

Trans shudder: Can you reproduce it in gear but clutch in? clutch out? Only at high RPM? Speed dependant?

Idiot lights: All of them? A particular one?

Coolant: Heater hose just below the oil filter block. You did replace the hoses when you put the new engine in right? Might just be loose. Also check the connection at the firewall, mine was all f'd up and wouldn't seal.

Not speed dependent...... clutch engaged.... when the rpm's hit around 5k, everything begins to shake and vibrate. Does it everytime.

All the idiot lights, including the shift indicator light......

I'll check the hose...... thanks.
