replace afm

I'd like to replace my current AFM (88na) with one i seen in a 91 na. I'm replacing the stock air box and slaping in a K&N This decision to go with the newer AFM is puerly for cosmetics reasons and not really needed....

Will it work properly, and are the connectionss even the same

Thanks
Damien

i'm sure the connectiions aren't the same but pretty sure they could be wired up without an issue.

i would download both FSM's and compare the wiring diagrams.

good luck, have fun

If you search you can find some info on how to wire it up exactly, they talked about doing it before though I don't think anyone actually has yet.

That's a new one...
No, the connections aren't the same; yes, it can be done with some simple rewiring; no, it won't make any difference to power; yes, it could affect mixtures (for better or worse); no, it's not worth the hassle.
