removing trans...PLEASE HELP!!!
Tell your neighbor you will wave the 20 dollar weed fee for 10 minutes of his time. "I Just need your help lining this thing up" He will see that you are trying... and probably help you. I cant see a 13 year old understanding what needs to be done with the jack..his job should be starting the top bellhousing bolts/nuts with you or neighbor under the car overseeing the input shaft with the other on the jack.......
Good luck.... Keep at it and you will be fine.

The good old days.... with the FC3S... I rebuilt the engine when i was 18.... it broke after 50 miless cuz i didnt file the side seals... spend over 8k all on credit cards , got in 2 accidents, costing approx 2k... and sold the car for 1600.00...
but I learned a lot.....!>!>!

Well i make $10 an hour and im still broke cuz of my car... Although i wouldnt be if i could keep from modding it.
Gotta start at the bottom of the job ladder.
As for the trans you will get it. Ive done mine twice since ive owned the car and just take your time with it and it will go in.
BTW i did mine by myself both times and on the ground both times. Support the car on 4 cinder blocks is what i did because i couldnt find big enough jackstands

thanks so much guys i finally got the tranny on!pushing the engine back did the trick. i still have one of the same problems as before i changed it though.i put the slave cylinder back on and i bled the system and the pedal still stays on the floor. i can see the slave pushing on the fork a little but not nearly as much as it should.if i push the pedal completly to the floor it comes back like maybe an inch. what else could it be. o and grip you are such a bad *** i hope im half as cool as you when i grow up, and the ............, so suspenceful, i never know what your gonna say next!
did some research.sounds like i need to replace my master cylinder now.plus the hose going to the slave isnt lookin so hot. and when i push down the clutch pedal and look at the the little rod that goes through the firewall its rubbing on the side and seems to move to the side as i push it. is that bad? and if so does it have anything to do with the master cylinder?thanks again.
Plus she don't need to be able to see, you are the one lineing the thing up, all she needs to do is stay under the car an bench press the tranny!!!

does anytone know about the clutch pedal rubbing and moving sideways where it goes through the firewall. where does it come out to in the engine compartment, i cant find it, does it just go into the master cylinder?
By no means was i trying to discourage anyone, i was merely being realistic. Congrats on the accomplishment. I know when i was 17 i sure as hell couldnt have even figured it out myself. Bravo for tackling such a tough job, especially on the floor

I just came in this conversation, but remember to take your time. If you give it a try and if it dont work take a break. Youre not 100%, man. The car aint goin no where. This part of the hole swap is the most irratating. I have my first rx7 and I been doin this **** for years. IMO I think rx7's are the easiest just more time consuming. Could be worse, DSM AWD trannys suck *** doin the same thing on jacks stands by yourself, lol.
