removing tb extra butterflies but keeping cold start

removing tb extra butterflies but keeping cold start

What would I do differently then in this how to

I want to remove the extra butterflies and port the tb and I have it removed but I wondered how i would go about removing the extra butterflies and porting the tb but still keep the cold start and thermowax on my 87 T2

yeah, just don't remove the cold start cam/thermo valve, etc. leave it on.

That's exactly what I did. The thermowax and double throttle system are totally seperate and have no effect on each other.

Ok thanks Icemark and NZ you guys are a great help. Between you guys and REted all my qs get answered. Well that and the fsm. Im learning a lot as I remove, mod, and reinstall things. The only thing I havent done at this point is take apart the short block and remove the clutch/flywheel but that will have to come soon cause because my stock clutch is starting to slip under 15 psi of pressure...
