Removing Starter

I was reading the FSM (thank Santos!) on how to remove the starter from my car, and it looks like a cinch but where the heck is it? I couldnt find it on my Sebring either. I know this is asking for a flame, but I at least did some research first.

if you look under the car: its located on the bottom of the bell housing of the transmission. driver's side.

IIRC, one of the starter bolts is real long, (goes through the starter, bellhousing and edge of the rear engine housing) and you need to hold the nut on the other side with a wrench or socket. This bolt also holds a bracket for part of the harness going to the starter.

Disconnect (-) on battery FIRST!

edit: worth mentioning, jack up the driver's side, use a *jack stand* for safety, and you're in business. Don't forget to unplug the solenoid wire that ends in a spade connector.
