Removing Smog Pump

Removing Smog Pump

hey just wondering what i have to do since i want to remove my smog pump from my 13B N/A
since i am rebuilding it and i have straight pipe i want to get rid of it
do i need anything or its just take it off and thats one less belt?

You have an S5 NA. Leave it alone.

If you remove it, your 6PI and VDI will stop working, and you'll lose ~40hp.

also i was thinking of doing a streetport i have a drimel(don't know how to spell it) do i need a template?
and i just want to do a regular small street port to get a little bit of power can someone show me a picture?
is it just porting the iron?

6PI = auxilliary ports that open at 3800 rpm

VDI = variable dynamic intake. It changes the runner length at 5200 rpm to give more top end power.

and as for street porting
can you send me a picture of what the iron and the housings are supposed to look like?
if i get the template from Pineapple Racing is it really that hard to do?
