removing the smog pump
I searched on how to remove the smog pump and came up with nothin....maybe im just blind i dont know....
I have a 87 N/A my question is when removing the smog pump do i cap things off reroute them ect? also will this fry my cats and should i wire open the 5th and 6th ports, if so how to do that also. Im adding a Eaton M-90 supercharger soon and im trying to get stuff like that taken care of any one else with advise feel free to give it, it will be much appreciated.

Remove the air pump and slowly the main cat will clog.
You will then need to gut or remove the main cat.
The pre-cats will still be OK & should provide enough backpressure to work the aux ports.
Adding a blower will force you to re-engineer the whole intake.
You will then need to gut or remove the main cat.
