removing a really stuck pilot bearing
I need some ideas for removing a really stuck bearing, er bearing shell.
Whomever installed this one pushed it all the way to the back of the e shaft where that lip is and it goes down to a smaller diamiter. When I pulled the trans I realized that there where no needles left in the bearing.
My pilot puller (a 2 jaw style with a slide hammer) has broken the font and rear lip out of the bearing, so I am left with a hardended steel thin shell stuck in the e shaft.
any ideas???
