Removing the horn pad/steering wheel cover
Im trying to remove it and check everything out under there since the cars horn isnt working correctly. Ive got the 2 screws on the backside of the steering wheel spokes off but cant pull the cover off yet. It seems like theres a screw still holding the metal bracket in there Anyone have an idea of what im missing?

There's one more at the top, but hard to get to. I busted it off when I got mine from the junkyard and have yet to fully put it back on, but I think so long as you have two it should hold. (Edit: It's screwed into plastic, so it won't bent any metal, but will just take a small plastic part with it.)
Also, be sure if you take off the metal support thing sandwiched in between the wheel, be sure to put it back right side up... That cost me half an hour last night and some bent metal. Ugh.

Yeah, it no doubt was. The horn operates by having a piece of metal ground out (or become powered, not really sure) when the button is pressed which completes the circut. If a metal screw were to make the two plates touch, it would honk.
On an unrelated matter, I had to drive around town in the middle of my crappy three spoke to sweet two spoke leather wheel conversion with the middle part hanging by the two wires. Everytime I cornered hard, it would honk for a few seconds so needless to say I got some strange looks. lol, I tried to look feebishly at the steering wheel and fiddle with it when the people were staring so they wouldn't think I was honking at them.
(Edit: Felix, you beat me to it!)

haha I know the feeling. it was almost as if my car was trying to catch attention. When it happened I backed away from traffic and it would stop. As soon as a car would approach from behind or the other side of the street it would start up again lol. Thanks for the help guys
