Removing Flash to Past
Ok I pretty much am just looking at a how too since I will get a cone filter soon with air box and plus I like the idea of these things gone. Basically how hard? time? pros/cons? thanks for the help guys
If you mean pulling out the lens itself, i'm not sure. When i got my car one of the lens was missing and the replacement i bought just popped right into place. I can't imagine taking it out to be that much harder.
Also, I haven't looked into this myself, but make sure there is some place for the air to pass through to the airbox as well. from what i've seen it looks like Mazda tried to sperate the front headlight assemblies from the engine bay, so you may have to do some cutting to see any benefit.
Good Luck.

It's easy - each are held to the front fascia by (2) 8 or 10mm nuts. Just pop the hood and use a socket with std. extension to remove the nuts, then push the lens out thru the front.
