the ac is as simple as undoing the ac lines (although it will look like crap w/ ac lines just dangling...) but the ps is tougher, you either need to loop the system (dont ask, never done it) or just get a non powersteering rack and pinion (recomended)

i think your brother was referring to if you take the whole ac system out, youll need to pull the dash out to get to everything... and then plug the hole in the radiator and on the driver side of the motor (where the heater hoses previously were)

i pulled my ac and ps. The a/c is easy just make sure your freon or r12 or 134 is removed legally by a shop. then just slowly remove all the lines, compressor, condensor, and evaporator. I think thats all there is. You will need to remove the pieces in front of the radiator though for a cleaner look. I left the 2 nipples on the fire wall for about a year before i finally removed the dash to pull them out. It didnt look too bad. The ps is harder. I looped the lines. One quick thing, If you go through with this, can you send me the 2 big banjo bolts? heheh i want to put my ps back in for drifting.. You will need to either find plugs or bolts that fit into the feed and return lines. Loop the lines comming right off the rack, and plug the 2 big hoses right on the rack itself. I used oil drain plugs from a generic kit we had at the shop and 2 of them fit perfectly as they are a difficult size to match. if you need any more help , pm me and ill help ya out the best i can
