on the side of the main cat can i just remove that if in going to gut the??? because the AP is already removed. can i just remove that like and leave everytthing open. like that small small tube sticking out of the side and the big tube connecting to it. please need help quick!!!!

yes, you can remove that. even with the airpump removed all it'd be doing is blowing air out into space.

 

even with that little vaccum line looking thing sticking out of it???
