Removed TMIC and put in FMIC.. a few question?

I just have a few questions.. that i need to get answered before i finish my fmic project. Hopefully you guys can help me.

1. Their was a small vacuum line going to the TMIC and it connects to the UIM i think, can i just cap it?

2. I took out my AC and their was a ground strap going from one of the bolts on the compressor to the body. Is this whats grounding the engine? does the engine need to be grounded?

3. My thermostat on the radiator has 2 wires going to it that i unplugged when I took it off, does it matter wich way the wires go on? If i reverse them will it screw up?

4. I found this vacuum hose and nipple open.. i dont know if this hose goes on this nipple or not, and i dont know what its for.. hopefully someone here does..

Thanks in advance.

Since you have the TMIC off just do the TB mod like I did.

It will remove all that ****.

Can't really tell where that vac line comes from. Is it on the TB or the engine?

that line could be from anything. but my guess would be on that nipple. leaving that nipple open will definatly cause problems. only way to find out 100% is removing stuff and finding the other end of the line.

line to the IC. should be 2. one from the accell start up. and one from the ASV. (unless S4 only has 1?) looks like the acell is gone already though. good. asv could probably be caped. I would unplug it aswell from the harness to be safe. your idle will be effected by things like the AC and turning the steering wheel as teh ASV helps that.
