Removed Seatbelt, now locked up.
Do s4 seatbelts have some kind of "if your remove they break" thing going for them. My pass belt messed up on me so I was switching it out with a know working one from one my buddies parts cars. I took off the belt, and it "reeled" in a little bit after taking it off, now it's stuck and wont come out. I can see on the side that it is being held in place by the little red switch and the ballbearing. I've tried everything, short of taking it apart (don't want to break it so my pass dies) Is there anyway to get it to work again or is it just F***ed.

The inertia reel is very sensitive.
It the lock is the least bit dirty, it will stick.
If the ball is in its rest position the lock should release.
I have cleaned them with mineral spirits and an air hose blast nozzle.
