Removed AWS solenoid
ok the aws solenoid that comes right off my intercooler then goes into the top off my intake manifold exploded. so i just removed it and blocked off the 2 lines that ran to the intercooler and the manifold. i was just wondering if there could be any adverse affects from doing this. should i bypass the solenoid by running a straight tube or just leave it blocked. right now my car seems to be running a tad bit leaner.i searched but came up without a very straight answer so any advise would be greatly appreciated.
it might throw a code. or check engine light. only other downside is it'll lower the 3000 rpm cold startup. which is a good thing.
tell me if it doesn't store and code. then I'll take mine off!!

Scott,
Its one of the lower codes...
The ECU will store a code, but the check engine light will not come on. It'll only pop up when you do the code check...
At least, that's how it was on my previous TII, and is on my current car.

What do I need to play .mov files with?
