Question Removal of the FI wiring harness

How hard is it to remove the engine wiring harness for FI and ignition from a 1991 RX 7 non-turbo

You basically have to remove the upper intake manifold to detach a few connectors but otherwise it's not really that hard.

yup not hard at all. since you will be doing it for the first time it will probably take about a hr. but i can yank one out in a couple of minutes now. the hardest part is inside the cabin . only cause i hate working inside cars.

^^^^ Yeah if you have never pulled the UIM it can take a little while. Definately not hard at all, just time consuming.

From the firewall, does it just pull through after disconnecting the ECU?

No...there's two connectors above the ECU.
