Alright so Ive been thinking about getting my car ready for next summer. Got a list of crap I want to do. Making a custom box to put in where to rear seats were and I put 2 10 inch subs back there, and and amp, a cargo net attached to the rear strut towers, and tonight I got the crazy idea to make the hatch removable. Does that seem like a good idea to anyone? What are the possible downsides? I mean here in Cali its alotta fun to drive around at the beach, but even more so without the hatch on! Seems like a simple mod right? Cut the wires and install plugs. Feedback guys.

 

yea sounds fine to do but what if it totally comes out, think bout how heavy it is...

 

Yeah, neat idea... just make sure you cross all your Is and dot all your Ts. I mean... wait... strike that - reverse it. :-P
