Question Remote mount, battery jumper terminals

Has anyone installed these in their car before? I am planning to mount my battery in the passenger side bin, and I want to put the remote mount, battery jumper terminals in the engine bay where the battery was.
I would like to see some pics, and hear any suggestions on how to mount them without shorting out the positive.

I have the ones on this page:
summit-terminals

Thx

I made a housing for the back of the car behind the license plate.

I just ran black to black and red to red.

Where does the license plate go, when you need to jump the car? Do you have to unscrew it, and take it off?
Is the kill switch to the remote terminals?

Thx

If you look in the later pics, you'll notice that the plate is back on. So, yes, you pull the plate when you want to charge or take the car to the strip. The kill switch is for the whole car to keep it legal for the track. I put it under the plate for a few reasons,
1) didn't want to drill through anything that would be visible
2) Don't want some punk kids killing my car when I don't want it killed.
3) above punk kids can't short out the jumper terminals and fry the system

Not a flame, but I wouldnt do it. If I need to jump my car I just open to bin. If somebody else needs a jump, its a good excuse to find another car for them to jump with. Its a lot more high current wire to run, with a danger of a short. You would need at least a 50 Amp fuse, 100 Amp would be better.

Older 3 series BMW's (85-90 or so) had a tstock trunk mounted battery. In the engine compartment they had placed a small unit from where you could jump the car from. I tried to find one of these, but unfortunately was unsuccessful. I will rely on a bump start if my battery goes south.
