Reman Engine Year?

ok i've tried searching everywhere and i am just curious about my engine. i have an 87 N/A with a reman engine. it was already in when i bought the car and i'm just wondering what year the engine would be, as in would they put in the 87 engine or would they put in a newer 13b? i ask just because i know that the newer 13bs had a few more horses than the older 13bs. i have the numbers written on the reman tag for the model and the serial, if anyone could answer my question i would greatly appreciate it.

the numbers as they appear on the engine :

Model EA FB01 36
Serial EA 03836 4/02

if its the stock engine for that year it would be the older 13b, s4 (series 4) was used from 86-88 and then they upgraded to the s5 (series 5) from 89-91.

pics would help determine s4 or s5.
s4 is all good though, your not missing out on much, and they are more reliable IMO
