Release fork / throwout bearing question

i just installed the motor onto the tranny, it took a lot of jerking it around and moving it to get it completey onto the shaft for the tranny...this jerking would not cause my fork to come off or anything like this ? (since the clutch etc was pushing back on the fork/throwout bearing when it was on the shaft)

my fork should be fine right ? it just seemed like it was kind of delicate when i put on the t/0 bearing but i figured it should be fine ... but just makingsure... i have no wway to know until i get the car started or whatever

As far as the fork itself goes, it's the wear on the pivot "ball" that the fork sits on that will cause problems...
