Reinstalled transmission...housing broke where engine meets tranny.

Yesterday I was reinstalling my transmission and the engine housing broke where the engine and transmission meet. One of the bolts that holds them together now is only held on by the transmission side. I still have the piece of metal that came off the engine and it looks like it was a pretty clean break. I read in an old post by Rotary Ressurection that four tranny bolts should hold fine. I was just wondering what can be done to repair this. Is JB Weld acceptable to cure this or should I have someone professionally weld it back together? Thanks.
