I am new on here, but I have read the threads before. I have an 88' RX7 SE. The motor went bad on me last month got a used motor to throw in and get it rolling again. Have not swapped the motors yet, other projects in the way. This is what I need because I love reading the responses and Q&A's on here. Like all of you I am addicted to ****. I am looking for some helpful guidence and your screw ups too. My 88 has no power options EXC sunroof (inop at the moment got a track messed up), cruise is still intact, air pump gone AC gone, anti-afterburn valve gone (block off plate) P/S gone, rear interior gone including the storage compartments and there fiberglass frame (barebones back there exc. 1 ten inch sub and some wiring harnesses spare and jack). I have an unported intake (read the thread on this and got two extras so I am going to try to do the porting myself need tips here too if they differ from the thread). Stock intake tubes running to the MAF, billet aluminum adapter plate to a cone filter with a heat shield on the radiator side. 8.8 accel wires. Resistor modifide intake temp sensors. 3 inch pipe to the Y and 2.5 inch tube to dual A-spec mufflers 3.5 inch tip with removable silencers. 16in crappy wheels primer (previous owner screwed them up bent a little so they ride rough too). I want to go as light as I can while keeping the dash sound and still having some heat for winter if I decide to drive in that climate. I need some tunes so my radio needs to stay. I was running a hair under 14 sec so my G-tech told me with this set up. I want to keep it N/A because I have a NOS fogger setup and Jacobs master mind NOS controller I am going to install once I get an ignition system that the jacobs will work with (could only get it to limit the leading side and the trailing side was trying to run normal). I have some used body kit peices I am going to use front nose (needs some repaires) and rear bumper skirts. Ok here is where you guys come in let me know what you think about the project and what you think I should do. I will consider all Ideas and if used I may even give you a shout out decal on the area of the improvement. Thanks all and I am very excited to hear what you have to say.
