Redline MTL Fixed shift problem

I recently installed a jspec swap and at first filled the tranny with 80/90 gear oil.
It was very hard to upshift and almost impossible to downshift.

I read all about the synthetics on here and decided to use Redline MTL. I decided on the MTL because I wanted it to shift good when it was cold too and it really worked.

I noticed an immediate improvement in synchro operation. After about a hunderd miles it shifts beautifully even when cold.

Just though I'd post my successful results of changing from the regular gear oil.

Note using the correct Redline gear oil for the rear differential & transmission (2 different types) will DRASTICALLY improve cold performance (ie bogging down).

If you mix it up & use the wrong type of Redline in the diff or trans, it will be a bit worse though.

LOL - For lazy people, try these links:
www.rx7club.com/search.php?
www.google.com

That would bring you to:
www.redlineoil.com

Note Redline is mostly carried in speciality shops.
