redline buzzer

hey i checked this s4 t2 out.
and i was driving it and when i floored it a buzzer would come on way early around 5 or 6 thousand.
what could that mean?
and it would also grind the gears at medium to higher revs. even with my foot all the way down on the clutch.
that might just mean the tranny is going bad right?
one of my friends also mentioned that it might not be a t2 but just swapped or something?

thanks

Sometimes the tach can read lower the actual revs, or the buzzer may have been for low coolant or low oil as the fluids slosh around during gear changes.

Gear grinding: clutch hydraulics or worn tranny syncros.
