+1 on the Tanabe GF210s, I have them and love them.

Almost perfect, fronts will fit nicely (might be close to the springs depending on the springs you have), rears will be inset a little, spacers will fix that. 17x8F/9R +35 fits really good.

I have 17x8 +35 with 225/45R17 all the way around. Perfect size for the front, but I regret 17x8 in the rear, should have gone 17x9. I'll be getting some spacers to push them out this summer as they're inset a little too much for my taste.

the older 17" wheels in my picture earlier in this thread were 17x7 35 if I remember, I have them as spares. I bought them back in 2000.

Tokico Illuminas are crap IMO.
I'd go with KYB AGX's or Koni Sports.

ON

KYB AGX & tanabe spring 1"drop.

I got the car as seen in the pics and it handles better than anything i've driven before, for now.
Currently undergoing sub-frame rebuild/upgrade.

I can't make up my mind whether I want to get coilovers or shock&springs combo. I want to slam the car pretty low for a flush fitment. In the other hand, I want to have a comfortable ride. Any suggestions guys?

I dont know which you would consider comfortable my shock/spring combo is stiff as hell, even with the shocks set to 1 (out of 4) front and 1 (out of 8) in the rear. If you go lower, it will be stiff.

i have racing beat springs with tokico blues. i dislike the setup, rides too high and not that great performance wise either. my friend's fc has AGX and intrax, they look great. could be on coilovers for all anyone knows, that thing is LOW. rides well too.
