I'm looking for a good place to get either a rebuilt or new transmission for my 1987 se. 3rd gear syncro is shot( which I researched that it is not that uncommon? Something about the tranny in the non-turbo can't quite keep up with the rpms?) and I thought that if i had to do some work, I might as well look for worst case senerio.

Help anyone?

Also looking for custom sub-woofers for my SE to fit in the rear compartments.

 

www.pineappleracing.com $395. Often times used ones can be had for ~$100 and are in good shape. Of course you could do it yourself, but it does require time and a little know how. Hope some of that helps.

Btw, I believe synchro's at the dealer are about $27 or so.
