Rebuilt Issue, Mazda Dealership STUMPED

I have a newly rebuilt engine just put in my car 13b non turbo and it turns over great but wont start, they check a bunch of stuff and found a bad temp sensor and compresson was at 7 on the front and three on the rear and even better when i was trying to figure it out i found it they had poured about a quart of tranny fluid into th air breather right under the airfilter into the mass air flow sensor i really thought that might have been the issue but to no avail can any one suggest any thing before i have to buy another engine????

Check for fuel/spark, loose hose clamps, loose wires etc. After that try pull starting it.

Change the sparkplugs, put some motor oil or atf into the lower sparkplug holes, and clean the airflow meter/intake tube/air filter box with a shitload of carb cleaner or brake cleaner before trying to start it. . Whoever poured ATF into the air filter box needs to stick to carburetors.

Fresh rebuilds can sometimes be a bitch to get started.
Try push starting it if all else fails?
