Exclamation Rebuilt / compression ?

I have just rebuilt a TII engine with new springs, used housings, newer Apex seals (about 4 thousand miles on them), used rotors ect ect. Anyway, Most of the internal parts came out of a S5 NA that was completely rebuilt with new parts. I decided instead of fixing a coolant seal in it again after 4 thousand miles on the engine to just build a S5 TII instead. So this engine is all turbo inside minus the seals.
Before my S5 NA engine blew its seal it had 90+ psi of compression easy. When it blew it still had about 60-75 psi of compression. Now I have rebuilt this TII engine and I was expecting at least 80 psi of compression but it only has 60-70 psi.
I haven't ran this engine yet only started it for one second with a little gas down the intake to break the 3 piece apex seals free. Will the compression go up once I put the entire engine back together and start it (or try) and break it in for a few hundred miles or is this the max compression I'll ever see in this engine. If it won't go above 70 psi of compression I'll have to deal with hard warm or cold starting, un-reliablilty, loss of power, and basically an engine / RX7 I don't want to have. Let me know what you guys think please because I'm almost fed up with non running Rotary engines.

The compression will build as the engine breaks in.

You may need a bit of oil into the plug holes to get it started the first few times.

If you intend to run the S5 NA rotors in a TII, you'll need a standalone as well to give you timing and fuel control.

Thanks for the news Aaron. It is completely S5 turbo internals, rotors and everything except the seals which are the same either way.
