Rebuilding my wirring harness...

Well, since I got the engine & such out of the car, now is the time to clean the wirring harness up a bit. Anyone have suggestions on this? damage to look for? Preventive ideas to help out later? Also; anyone know where to get really good thermal sensitive tape, I am looking for tape with some shielding built it (fiberglass maybee) what kind of shields (IE plastic), or tape should I use on the hot *** parts? I plan to strip all the worn & ugly stuff off the current harness.

Thanks,
Robert

If you are going to re-tape use some 3M Temflex 77 or 177 tape. The adhesives are generally stable to around 400F.

Any idea where I buy this at? do I have to mail order it, or do any local stores carry it?

Your local stero shop should be able to order it from Accell or DLC (maybe even AAMP).
