Rebuilding the engine..

How much would rebuilding the engine on a 1990 RX-7 turbo coupe cost? Or how much would it be to buy a new engine for it? I heard that engine performance becomes unreliable after 100k.

You can do your own rebuild for as little as $600, and I offer rebuilds starting at $1000 for your engine, plus core.

it depends on how well you take care of the engine and how much you mod it... where in los angeles are you?

hey kevin...i was gonna swap my 88 GXL n/a with a TII, because i dont trust it, and i feel if i do any mods to it, it will be a waste of money when the engine blows...but then....is it possible for you to take it and rebuild it...and i dont have to worry about that any more?

but then again i really want turbo....and if i did do a swap it would probably be a 3 rotor...

what do you think i should do?

North Hollywood, more san fernando valley than los angeles. Don't have a 90 RX-7 yet just wondering to see how much money I'd have to put in it to make sure it wont die on me. Anyone know how much buying a low mileage engine with turbo would cost?
