hey im almost positive that i have a blown apex seal, but lemme describe some syptoms. well, for one theres the lack of power. the engine takes forever to hit even 5k...even when its out of gear. the exhaust pressure pulses instead of flowing freely. ummm the radiator always seems to b full, also seems like its pressurized cause if i open it a little fluid come surging out. i think thats about all. im goin to do a compression test 2moro, hopefully i'll b able to buy a tester 2moro. and i'll do some tests. anyone got anything to add or comment on?

 

You dont need to buy anything, just pull the plugs and turn the engine over. It should sound even as it turns over. It should be steady puffs, if it skips a puff you got problems.

 

Check for coolant in the oil, oil in the coolant, and the compression tests noted above...
