ive been driving around lately and i noticed my turbo isnt boosting as high...it also seems like it whines a lot louder than it should...you can hear it over my 3 inch exhaust...it sounds pretty sick though cause everyone hears my turbo...i like it...


do i need a rebuild?

thats actually a turbo to my friends 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R...its gone....he is getting a 16G soon

do a compression test....

 

yeah well we figured since all those pieces were missing they must have gone into the engine...

piston 1 - 120PSI
piston 2 - 120PSI
piston 3 - 85PSI
piston 4 - 120PSI

he has a new head and gasket and hopes it doesnt need a full rebuild....
