I have about 100 miles on my rebuild 1986 13b. I Took it for a short drive after nothing but the best performance over the past day. On the way home it would not idle without dying suddenly. Now it will not start. It just climbs around 500 rpm for a few moments, then dies.

check for vacuum leaks

also, on a new rebuild it's best to set the idle to 1000+ rpm for a little while at least.

Turns out the air intake worked its way loose. Strange.

Thanks for the reply though.
