the kit averages around $800 and you can go to mazdatrix.com or rotary ressurection.com. I would advise just talking to Kevin at rotary ressurection though. He just ported/polished and rebuilt me a long block TII (no core) for 2000. If you send him a core he does the whole rebuild for around $1000

if you want a kit, you have a few optons. 1) OEM mazda stuff from the dealer (you gotta get the parts fiche and do all the searching and stuff yourself. 2) atkins master rebuild kit 3) mazdatrix also you have other option that maybe good which is to get someone else to rebuild it for ya, someone like Kevin Landers from RotaryRessurection. I have not done dealt with him personally, but i know 99% of the ppl here that have done biz with him say hes straight up and trustworthy and does good rebuilds and if your strapped for cash, he does budget builds as well. So if your not sure/confident to do it yourself, that maybe a way to go. If your in canada (but, i would recommend RPM Performance, Joe did my motor this past summer and i love it! , not sure were Kenner is hence i said Canada as well)

If you are up for rebuilding it yourself, definately go for it. I would get the rebuild videos from atkinsrotary.com and rotaryaviation.com (the rotaryaviation one is more deatiled, but both are very good.) For rebuilding it, your best bet is to get the parts from atkinsrotary.com. They have good seals for a good price. If you take it apart and reuse side seals, remember that it is a good idea to keep them in the same locations since they can sometimes have different lengths. I have heard that they can be interchanged, but its better safe than sorry.
Also, you don't need the parts fiche. You can download the parts manual (link in the 2nd gen faq) and its the exact same thing.
