what is involved in using an s6 intake manifold on a s5. and i also need some input on rats nest removal

it doesn't fit, so you would need to fabricate spacers and the like.

and smog removal is covered in the FAQ for FC sticky thread and in the 2nd gen archive thread. Shame on you for not looking at those first.

i checked on the sticky thread for smog removal and nothing came up any other suggestions

When the guy that made the faq section about the question you asked, its certain its there. All the way at the bottom section 89+ intake on 86-88
